I don't know how I feel about this. I LOVED Drop Dead Fred with Rik Mayall. Loved, loved, LOVED it. And I love Rik. I don't think there's any way they could improve on this movie, so the only directions left to go are laterally and down. But I do like Russell Brand a lot. And it's such a great movie and concept... if they can do it justice in the remake and that brings it a whole new wave of fans, that would probably be a good thing.
I'm apprehensive. But I'm willing to keep an open mind.
