I'm so excited! I found *all* of the DVDs (in the UK), and bought a cheap DVD player with an easy region-free hack I now have 10 full DVDs of Doctor in the House eps (including Doctor in Charge and Doctor at Large). If anyone's interested, you can find all of the Doctor in the House DVDs at amazon.co.uk (not .com). You can set it for any region in particular, but I can't see setting it for anything other than 0, which makes it accept all regions. After you've read the review with the hack, to go to the item's main page, just click on the item in the upper right corner. It's a Philips DVP5140 Multiformat DVD Player with DivX, MP3, Windows Media Support, and it's only $49.99. The DVDs cost me three times as much as the player itself. Now you, too, can play any region DVD for only $49.99 and a simple hack! Have fun!

You can pretty much get all the makes and models that you'll find in Best Buys etc. They basically take a standard model and reprogramme it. Just google "region free dvd players" and take your pick.

Theres plenty of online vendors who sell "region free" dvd players. Probably the most reliable and easiest way of watching out of region dvd's.

I had a friend try the supposed region hack for my DVD player, but it didn't work. How on earth are we supposed to play these things? Are their any non-region-specific DVD players available nowadays? Do I have to buy a separate region 2 DVD player? *Can* I buy a region 2 DVD player in the U.S.? I've been waiting for these episodes for decades. I can't even find them on tv-links. They've finally been released. What's a girl to do?
